Clan Rules and Application

If you would like to join Force Recon, please take the time to read the rules and follow the following steps:


Force Recon is an PS3 online gaming clan. We want to have fun in the games that we play. To achieve our goal of having fun, we have a set of rules that all clan members must agree to follow and enforce. We also want to be and will, at all times, present ourselves as a mature group who respect their members and their guests and treat everyone with dignity. The clan rules below are not about gaming practices as long as it is not CHEATING!. We don't care if you are a camper, camp all you want. (Your opponents will figure out what you're doing soon enough.) How you play the game is up to you. Our rules are about personal conduct, respect and how we deal with interpersonal relationships. With that being said, below is a list of our rules:

1. Force Recon is a NO CHEATING clan. We can not stress this issue enough. If documented proof can be presented of any Force Recon clan member CHEATING, HACKING, using LAG SWITCHES, GLITCHING or any other such activites that the gaming community may look down upon at ANY time in ANY game while wearing a Force Recon tag, that clan member WILL have their Force Recon membership revoked!

2. Force Recon is comprised of clan members, guests, and friends representing all races, religions, and backgrounds. To respect the sensibilities of our members and guests, members will conduct themselves in a respectful manner and will scrupulously avoid the use of any derogatory, insulting, racial or sexual slurs towards any member or guest on our forums.

3. Excessive profanity is not allowed. We all know that we occasionally blurt out profanity in the heat of battle, but it should stop there, particularly if another member or guest expresses concern. Force Recon clan members will conduct themselves in a dignified manner and proudly represent the clan by considering and responding appropriately to the feelings and sensibilities of others.

4. Rude content, profane content, drug content, racially insulting content and particularly pornographic content are not allowed on our forums or in game. Many of our clanmates have families and children who watch the gaming of our clanmates. Offensive content is simply not appropriate and limit or exclude the potential for family participation.

5. If a clan member has a problem with another clan member which cannot be resolved between the parties privately; you will email or private message a Clan Council member privately and they will address the situation. Under no circumstances should you take your personal problems into the game or onto the forums. If you do post your personal problem/s onto the forums, you will lose privileges there. If you abuse this rule repeatedly, you will, at the sole discretion of the Council, have your membership revoked.

6. All members of Force Recon are expected to show activity on the forums and in game. We want and need our members to be informed and the forums are the best and most convenient means of doing so. We ask all Force Recon clan members to visit and post on the forum/s at least several times a week. Members that wish to participate in Clan Battles will need to show extreme activity as practices and matches could happen at anytime. If for any reason you are going to absent for a long period of time, Please let The Council know ahead of time or you risk the chance of being removed from Force Recon.

7. No member of Force Recon is at anytime allowed to be in another clan for games that we compete in. If documented proof can be presented of any Force Recon clan member currently in another rival clan, that clan member WILL have their Force Recon membership revoked! If at anytime a member decides they wish to leave Force Recon, that member (Given circumstances) may no longer be able to rejoin Force Recon.

8. Force Recon clan members will conduct themselves maturely and represent the clan with dignity and respect in EVERY clan game or forum they are in, regardless if it is owned and or operated by Force Recon. If documented proof can be presented of a Force Recon clan member violating any of the Force Recon clan rules in ANY game or forum while wearing an Force Recon tag, the Force Recon Clan Council reserves the right to revoke Force Recon membership of the offending clan member. If you wear the Force Recon tag, behave yourself everywhere and at all times.

9. Force Recon clan members, while wearing the Force Recon tag will wear the name chosen by them at the time of appointment to clan member status and only that name. If you want to change your name, remove the Force Recon tag while you are using a different name.

10. Much of the enjoyment of gaming and clan membership is the friendship and camaraderie we share with each other. That often includes; "messing" with each other, "busting chops" and "busting ass". By any name, good natured fun and teasing, as long as it does not overtly violate the above rules, is perfectly acceptable and considered an integral part of the game's enjoyment.

11. We here at Force Recon belive that comunication is a big part of victory. Thus we require all members to have some sort of comunication device. Applicants may still apply without having a comunication device, but this may delay the application process until a comunication device can be obtained.

12. You MUST be at least 16 years old to join. You may still have a tryout and exceptions will be made, but in general you must be 16 to become a member of Force Recon.

Now on to the Clan Application.

Please note that by posting an application you do hearby agree to follow all Force Recon clan rules and regulations. You may also be quized on the clan rules as part of your try-out. So be sure you have read and understand them all.
