I talked to godsend and I decided I'd post a warhammer online thread to discuss the features of this upcoming game. I'm too freakin tired to post any news tonight but I'll be sure to update this topic tomorrow morning with some videos and stuff of that ilk. If anyone else has any information they'd like to share, feel free to post here.

This is the MMO I have been wating for, (sorry godsend I dont see it going to a console). I am a PVP junkie and Mythic knows pvp I played dark age of camelot for around 5 years and it was a blast. Only thing with this is the Warhammer universe is so much freaking cooler and broader in all things.
Wish I could get into beta but nothing yet. Definatly getting this when it comes out since Im about to quit WoW.

No I'm still going to belive I will see it on a console. I seen a list of PS3 games coming in the near future and that was one of them. If 360 can get Conan: The Hyborian Adventures then PS3 can get Warhammer : The Age of Reckoning!! (how ever it spelled)

You have a point godsend.
As far as warhammers go dwarfs have like 2 classes based off of hammers in various ways.

You're welcome lol, but the coolest thing I've watched concerning this game is the guild system. You get to have a standard bearer and everything for your guild banner and you can capture keeps a display your guild's banner that way too. I'll check for the video, brb.
EDIT: alright, here it is:
EDIT 2: I signed up for the beta so we'll see if I can get in soon hopefully.

Ok, you now officially have my attention. So, is this an MMO? PC or PS3 doesn't matter, it looks like a decent MMO, and after watching that Guild video, I would go out on a limb and say this could be the "next World of Warcraft".

I watched all the videos about the game also and they have a good crafting setup as well. I'm getting rather excited about this now that I've seen all the gameplay demos, and I think RvR will be a lot more interesting than the PvP setup WoW has going right now.

there's the list of gameplay videos on gamespot. There really aren't that many good ones since the game's still in closed beta but I'll try and get in on the beta and let you know how it is. But you know me man, it takes a lot for me to get excited about a specific game so take my excitement for what it is lol.

RvR is realm vs realm combat. It's sorta like PvP except on a much grander scale. Instead of fighting against a single enemy character you fight against many characters, like on a battlefield, for the benefit of an overall war effort. Your points you get from defeating enemy characters contribute to the overall score.

The great thing about a warhammer game is how much content the series has to work with. They have a back catalog almost as big as Star Wars.
