Monster Hunter Discussion

Its not that they are UBER skills, because they are not. It is only that I am at the point in the game where things get REALLY tough...so having these two skills will help me A LOT. They are:

+15 Auto Tracking- Auto tracks every boss monster on the map with details
+10 Cooking- you eat/drink potions faster

These will help because 95% of the hard quests coming up that I have to do involve hard wryverns or dragons, plus other bosses, so the auto tracking is a huge help. Then the +10 cooking is good because in the middle of a boss fight, if you need to chug a potion, whether it is for health or for elements (hot/cold drink), you wont be standing there for 7 seconds....and then you get hit while you drink it. You drink it faster so you have a less chance of getting hit while standing patting your stomach.....

So yeah. I don't NEED these skills, but they would be a GREAT help to me going into the harder Guild quests, so thats why I am determined to get the ONE REMAINING ITEM I need to finish the set.

nice ive been playing a lot of lan with my friend right now i got full blango and i got the fall dragon sword and almost got white death AND i go those blue swastika looking duals lol and and and i have to many weapons i only really use one i just have an addiction to buying any weapon i can get my hands on

Just fought Tigrex again STILL NO FUCKING SKULL SHELL!!! God, how many times must I rip that pussy open until I get a god damn skull shell?

how many points are you away from those skills why not try some gems

You do realize your not getting those until your HR4 right?

Those would the Bladed Edge. Good Swords but the Velociprey Claws+ are way better in terms of raw damage!

Chamelelos hath fled from my leet skillz. Fire Wyrvern blade "Blood" did a pretty decent job but it kept bouncing of him unless it was a head shot or sprit combo. None the less though after 25 min. I had still done the damage and he fled. Quest Cleared! Next round I'm using a hammer!!

ya figured i wouldnt be gettin +claws till a while but im going to continue using my finblade and my longsword fall or w/e duals are going to be my back up weapon im even starting to use some hammers now but i have the bladed edge now is it i can't improve them or i can't make them?

Just an update, right now I'm farming the Kut-Ku, gonna get everything I can from him. Armor mainly.

i gots me a devil slicer not quite as awsome looking as i had invisioned it but o well right now im farming red khezu for some Khezu D armor then on to rathalos so i can get the dragon blood sword

AWWWW Man!!!! I just had to go and start playing with a new weapon! Damn Bow I love the thing!! Better than the Bow guns cuase they suck!! And on top of that I'm starting over with new charcter so I can use bows only!!

VICTORY!!!!! After 17 Tigrex hunts, I was finally rewarded with a Tigrex Skull Shell!!!!! I now have 100% FULL TIGREX, upgraded to level 8 for each piece.

TIGREX IS NOW MY BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice btw i got devil slicer and blango decimator now the only upgradable weapon i have it the dragon sword blood as soon as i get full khezu D los is going down hard

on a side note i have the BEST mining run ever a good 3-4 dragonites 2-3 firestones 1 rainbow 8 machalite ore tons of earth crystal and tons of iron ore plus a large ruststone and a sm rust stone volcano ftw

Yeah, Volcano is awesome. Farming Tigrex 17 times, I got a TON of money but my materials were practically depleted. I am going to spend the next day or two building back up my resources. This includes mining (a lot), gathering seeds and plants, and building back up my potion stock.

I also need more well done steaks, so I should buy some raw meat and do some quests for cooking...those cats in the kitchen can't cook for shit.

Afterwards, I am going to work towards HR3, and getting the Wryvern Blade "Blood". God knows I have enough Tigrex claws (40) so all I need is a couple Rathalos carves and I'm set.
